The Mobility Pavilion tells the story of human mobility throughout the ages. Wētā Workshop led the experience design, concept development, and built a collection of large-scale key elements. More info / amazing work here: https://www.wetaworkshop.com/projects-in-depth/expo-2020-dubai/
This was an extremely collaborative process, originally sculpted in clay by Brigitte Wuest. I cleaned up the scans, worked on the sculpt (with Fabio Paiva taking point). and helped design the mechanical leg, working with supervisor and modeller Jack Taylor.
A large portion of my work was splitting and preparing this large scale sculpture for bronze casting and assembly, working closely with Weta Workshop engineering team and the foundry.
